BANANA FARM TOURS
The Lower Hibiscus Coast (Ramsgate to Port Edward) is famous for its banana farms. You can take a 1 hour walking tour which takes you through the banana plantations and through to the biggest banana pack shed on the coast.

OCEAN TRAILS
The horse riding trails take you to unspoilt beaches into lush coastal forests and have panoramic sea views. Beginners to experienced riders are all catered for.

ORIBI GORGE
A rugged natural landscape of breathtaking beauty, the gorge is 27 kms long and 1 km at its widest point. It is teeming with wildlife, huge indigenous trees and meandering hiking and mountain bike trails. At the edge of the gorge is an extreme adventure hotspot.

PURE VENOM SNAKE PARK
A spine-tingling display of indigenous snakes and exotic reptiles

RIVERBEND CROCODILE FARM
Just 5 minutes away at Southbroom you will experience the awe-inspiring crocodile feeding frenzy every Sunday at 15h00. There are also seasonal hatching demonstrations. The snake house is home to some of Africa’s deadliest and most beautiful snakes. There are also snake demonstrations at 14h30 every Sunday.

SURFING
The Hibiscus Coast is fantastic for surfing with waves upon waves upon waves. St Michael’s beach, Trafalgar and Southbroom being particularly famous. In winter, when there is the best swell, there are waves between four and eight feet.
